Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I too, have been using tungsten 4mm and 5 mm ice jigs in the open water with a thill boober for big gills and crappies.

5# test power pro high vis line with a 4# test high end mono leader tied together with a #8 spro swivel.

Fishing with and without a bobber 18 to 22ft. down in a lake not to far from slip sinker.

Excellent Bruce!... thanks for sharing!... so versatile using the micro-jigs for panfish… presenting them on the bobber, casting and vertical jigging… great methods of getting the tiny baits to the fish zone

Just got some (13 Fishing) tungsten  1/64 jig heads (very expensive like 2 for $4.49) ------ haven't tried em yet.

Gonna have to get the boat going!
