Hey Bruce, I'd say your dock and marina , early spring panfish tactics are likely overlooked and that could be a good thing if people cant discipline themselves not to keep every thing they catch. There is a comparable gig here in MD's eastern shore where we catch big gills and crappies at the base of millpond dams in spillway holes at the very upper ends of some of our tidal tribs. Fish move up to spawn and some spillovers come in during heavy spring rains...can be like shootin em in a barrel if you time it right.

Hey Bruce...Yes, we do alot of the same fishing for panfish. Anytime you have some thing special please feel free to send it along and maybe I can duplicate it out my way for goood results. Tryin for big yellow perch this weekend at Deep Creek...see ya! Jim

Cool! I should have a shoreline crappie piece out soon in In Fish. I had a real good year last season and got about 75 fish from 13 to 15 in, releasing over half of them. Hope to talk to you and find out some good tactics for our favorite panfish! See ya!
