Indeed - Mark is a gem.

I saw a neat idea for making mini poppers earlier. Im gonna look into that.

Thats about the extent of what I have left. Been 25 years ago but I do still have all my airbrushes and compressor. I was thinking down the road about poppers so I did buy some poppers from Netcraft last spring and new paint. I don't think that 25 year old paint is much good anymore. Was neat to see Mark had the same interest in the poppers and did something about it and done a great job on them to.I guess if I can find my stuff I'll have a few painted and tied up by spring if I ever get that palmering thing down. Got so many things right now that I want to tie and don't want to spread myself to thin jumping on another bandwagon. Mark was a big help to me today answered all my question and a big Thank you goes out to Mark.

Dick, I'm thinking you need to give up fishing.
Studio the airbrush art, buddy. That's a no sh*t, my man.
Beautiful work.

It's one of them things that interested me but at the time didn't have a place to do it. Obviously us having a new home I wasn't going to do it in the house no matter how careful you are so I put the air brushes and paint up. Paints a little old don't think after 25 years the paint will go to well through the airbrush. I have replace the paint but still have to dig out the air brushes and compressor. Now that the house is older I'm thinking it could be a possibility but on the backside I do have a heated garage now.

Dick, those look awesome. you have some serious airbrushing skills.

Comment by dick tabbert on December 20, 2013 at 12:21pm

Thanks again Mark Didn't know if we could mix or not. I guess as long as the waterbase is completly dry it's a go. Below is the airbrushed stuff I did many years ago. I one I liked the best the black and white got threw in the closet and wrinkled. I am sorry maybe I should have sent them e-mail since they are not fish related.

These are all full blown done on T-shirts.

no problems with water based paints I use mostly Createx paints but have a lot of the the dollar a bottle acrylics from wally world too. ditto with the sally's or the cheaper version "L.A. Nails" clear.

I have used Sally Hansens but never on water base paints. Thanks for getting back with me Mark.
