Super fish Jacob - you will have to come up to the UP of Michigan and fish the Memonomine River for smallies sometime

I don't normally think of smallmouth, worms and bobbers together.
To me, its spinnerbaits and pig-n-jig combos.
But that is probably because I've never seen one and know little about them. When you
consider the natural food of fishes, overall, I see no reason why worms
would not appeal to them.
May have been the right place/right time... but I'm sure you'll remember the moment.

Thanks David I think (not totally sure) I caught this one on a nightcrawler piece fishing for Rock Bass, but I can't remember. We caught a bunch of smallies on poppers later in the day but I believe this one was caught while we were fishing for rock bass. Thanks Jim and Dick and Leo I was just at the right place at the right time.
