Last evening didnt see the Carp finning in the shallow river  .Was looking for them .Tried corn and caught bullheads but no Carp . I hope I have more chances for some Carp .

I use a number 6 hook, typically the gold style they are longer and can hold more corn i even slide some onto the line.

Thanks Eric-Exactly what I was planning on using .I used Gum drops to no avail last week. Couldn't find the Jim Gronaw ,Dried Pineapple suggestion at the Grocery store .Not to be a pest but what hook style /size have you been sucessful with ?I am thinking of using 6# test on a medium light rod .
