If it ain't broken, don't fix it. If it fish like a nuclear rod in the water, why change it? Value the things that are made well, and last. Rods nowadays break way too easily. I broke so many already. I rather have quality design over high tech crap that fail on me. Time to go back to the right stuff..the vintage stuff.

IN THE OLD DAYS Shakespeare said any rod wrapped in green WAS THE TOP OF THE LINE , and guaranteed for life. These were both 60's rods and alas Shakespeare stopped the wonderod production in the late 70's I believe.  Oh well the kids today, 50 and under, will still be talking about there new stuff as I'm talking about the old stuff now.

That is with a few exceptions like Leo and Jeff who have a new found appreciation for this vintage tackle.
