Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Thank you Greg and all. After today I can tell you I don't know how much fun I have really missed over the years not using a flyrod. The #5wt done a little bending can't imagine catching a fish on a 1 or 2wt that would be awesome. Now that I'm weened and haven't pierced any body parts I feel like I will be getting much more serious but due to the wind I had some tangles that set me back. In fact I had quit a few tangles. All I had was rubber spiders and after I used them they started sinking as did everyone I tied on guess they were cheappies. Greg I will get to Cabala's and restock next time I get out that way.

Sweet!.....I only fly fish during the spawn...(now)....it's a lot of work....all that arm movement in hopes of laying that fly down nice and soft, stripping just perfectly to entice a strike.....it's all worth it!

Bill I don't know about all that I still don't know what I'm doing but it was nice catching them Gill on top water. The worst part was the wind for me today I had numerous tangles and I mean 10 or 15 minutes to straighten things up. Other than that it was a blast.

That is a fine day with your fly rod. Congrats on the catch.

Thank you was a good day I know I'll have to break down and spend some money on some flies I guess thats next

I'd call that a very successful first outing Dick!

The most fun I've had in awhile. Now I'm going to have to pull the tube out and go the next step

That's a great 1st outing! Congrat's Dick! Nice looking rod 2 by the way!

It was great and I did no body piercing in the process a plus for me.

CONGRATS DICK on your first outing and it looks like it was a ROARING SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NICE fish and anytime you don't hook your earlobes or neck it's a good day. WIND KNOTS!!!!!!!!! DON'T WORRY ABOUT EM BECAUSE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVERYONE HAS A FEW and if they say they don't I'd take it with a grain or two of salt OLE BUDDY!

Fortunately you and I don't have to worry about hooking the lures in our hair ole buddy!!!!LOL!

Is that what you call them wind knots I can tell you some where bad and I don't think all was cause by the wind I think they were Dick knots.

DICK KNOTS, LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOL OLE BUDDY and thought all these years they were TOOTY KNOTS!

Yea you don't get all the credit we'll share.
