Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

anyone else use a small panther martin spinner.. this has been one of my all time favorite baits.. its like a 1/16 oz gold spinner with  orange color feathers.. this bait is really good on sunny days and it will catch crappie and bass..

also i use a 1in black crappie slider on a thin wire hook tipped with a wax worm this is a deadly lil rig..

this is what i use for bluegills  quite often

Done well on Trout in the past with Panther Martin spinners.Works very well in fast muddy water!

Ive caught fish with them over the years, but never any sunfish. I do have a store of small ones, though, just in case.

Never tried the panther martin but I use a beetle spin frequently.  Have to say it's my go to lure.

Panfishes, I got hit with the following, and noticed based on hours of the day:

Panther Martin - Fly spinner, trout, silver and gold

Rapala X Shad - both purple and green floaters

Thomas Buoyant - yellow, red, and lady bug

But, the deadliest combos are color jigs (red/orange/yellow) with mealworms, crickets, and red wigglies.
