Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Last week I lost my life time fishing partner and friend, my father, after a long but brave battle with pancreatic cancer, and just yesterday I lost my awesome Navy Veteran grandfather on my mothers side, also after a brave battle with cancer. Such a rough week, I need to go fishing.

Next time you BBG Friends go out, catch some fish for a couple of fallen brethren. Thank you guys.

Thanks Bruce, I appreciate it. He loved coming on here and checking out all the huge sunfish, so he'd be real psyched. Thank you all again for the support!

Chris.  I'm really sorry it took me so long to respond to this.  I missed it.   I promise that the first big bluegill I catch this year I will dedicate to your father.  Take care, friend.  You got a good group of buddies here.

I am sorry to hear of your loss, Chris. I lost both of my parents in 2011, just four months apart. The great fishing memories they created for me, are what puts a smile on my face when I get missing them the most. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
