Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!! I'm honored you used 2 of my flies. Tight lines and everlasting flies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Truly the best wishes on your bday, and many more blessed bdays to come! Not only that, more challenges in searching for the golden sized trophy catches.
About a year ago, I was invited here by Jeff Soto, since I was a fan of panfishing, not so much into bass fishing. I've seen this site many times during my search for panfishing info, but never made the full plunge into become a member..I was a troller. Once I've joined, there was nothing but valuable info, wisdom, and experience in all areas of the fishing arena, but also in the walks of life. Just blessed to actually have a site like this to go to throughout the day, and let my daily trouble slips away into oblivion.
Oh by the way Happy Birthday and many more here at BBG
Greghopper you have some nice flies there. I'm hoping one day I'll be able to tie some of these they all look like fish catchers but I'm thinking there all wet flies am I correct in assuming that.
Rex, BET HE IS A GREAT FELLOW!!!!!!!!
ALL THE FLIES IN THIS POST CAN BE FOUND ON THIS SITE!!!!!!
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAPPY BIRTHDAY GREG! MAN WHAT a great collection of flies to do battle with the gills and crappies!!!
You are right about alllllllllll the folks here on BBG and the input from them gives all of us more insight into the addiction we all suffer from. Because of folks here , and looking at all the pics makes me want to be a better tier and to develop new stuff from down in my shop. I hope I never loose the addiction of gill fishin and fly rodding and also ultra light fishing for everything!
I think that this site , and the people on it, have made me a better person and fisherman .
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN GREG AND TIGHT LINES !
Happy birthday Greg!!!!!!!! Been meaning to tell you my next door neighbor, who I grew up with, his name was Greg McWilliams. Saw him kayaking the other day. You may have a southern clone. Looks like many of your favorite flies are some of my favorites too. I always take all my flies with me but usually end up fishing my top five. Funny how that happens. Great looking ties you have there. Always like seeing flies others have tied to get ideas for something else to try. Once again happy birthday and many more!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREG!!!!! Those flies look like sure winners. It is nice seeing what they are called as well. I also stumbled on this site by doing a search for Big Bluegill pictures. Since being on here, I have learned how to download pictures from a camera I have had for a couple years, and recently took up the addiction of fly and jig tying. It was something I had thought of doing for years, but never took the plunge till I saw all the good looking flies tied by our members. I thought to myself "I bet I can learn to tie on here" It truly been a pleasure learning and sharing information with others from all over the country that share my crazy passion. I felt welcomed from the first day here, and try to welcome new members, so they will have the same good feeling I have.
happy birthday Greg those are some great looking flies. I just have to thank Bruce, Greg, David, Walt, Jeffrey, Leo, Vince, Tony, David, Jen, Allen, JB, Federico, Dick, and everybody else that has been so kind and helpful. The camaraderie, knowledge, and content on this site is unmatched. Great looking flies too Greg.
Testify Brother Greg! I'll echo your sentiments regarding the fine folks on BBG....It don't get no betta' than this! I belong to a number of forums, but the vast majority of my online time is spent right here. And there's a good reason for that....... it's pleasant, as well as fun! Throw in the tips and techniques freely shared amongst all, the comraderie, and the vast pool of knowledge found at BBG, and you've got a winning combination.
Oh...Happy BBG birthday!
