I finally got some ice time in!!! I have been so bogged down with school and work that I have not been able to get in as much time as I wanted. A Sad Tale

What a sad story - my trip was cut short and I lost all of my fishing day. No Lake Ponchartrain, no Mississippi and No Orleans bluegill adventure for me.

Ok - I am in New Orleans and have never fished for blue gills south of Missouri so tomorrow I have a tackle shop lined up and am going to try and get out and try to find some of my blue-gilled friends.
