All Time Favorite Panfish Bait…..7/21/2024

Growing up near the salt marsh in southern Louisiana this little species of shrimp was readily available everywhere….I would go to any standing water pockets and use a scoop net to quickly obtain several hundred grass shrimp for an outing…my trick was to use a one gallon old school ice cream bucket, fill half with salt water and drop in a large baggie of ice, this would rapidly cool the water down and in turn the shrimp would firm up and not turn to mush…put your jig under a float and add a shrimp to cover the hook and cast it to your desired location…hold on for intense strikes…
