Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Let me get this little fly out to the big lake and I'll bet the fish will take it with gusto. Typical subsurface method.

Outta the pond by the house, Allen. It is the only place I have readily available with enough casting room to fly fish.

All my other haunts are grown up right down to the water line.

Well, Leo, my friend, I have no kids and a quiet wife who doesn't ask for much
in life. I'm fortunate to have a few moments each day to reflect and tie some flies.
If you'll remember, you warned me of the cost and involvement.
You were right....I can only say I'm glad I didn't listen.
Thanks for your support.

LOL Dick said the same thing 6 months ago. Now, he shines like the northern stars with his creation. Don't worry. With the amount of flies you're experimenting with, you'll shine in no time. Wish I have the extra free time to experiment, but, family comes first.

"On my way" being the operative phrase.
I'll consider myself fortunate if I ever get as far down the road as you.

Looks like you're on your way to become a fly master. I'll be your fly novice.
