Jeffery - keep the recipes coming, Im hoping to have alot of gills to try differant one across the country out.
Hey Brandon....this is one of my favorite recipes.....I personally enjoy Frank's Hot Sauce so that is what I use but I would try it with your favorite hot sauce/buffalo sauce....Just fry the filets to your desried taste and dab them with the sauce and enjoy.....
I gotta try that!
I love my chicken now but I have multiple sunfish recipes and here is another favorite of friends and family that find themselves at home at my table.....Buffalo Bluegill is a hit every time!
Jeffrey you got it down brother and I know there good eating, I like spicy now and then.
I'm just ate, and I'm getting hungry again just seeing these morsel bites.
Marinate fish fingers in A-1, or Heinz 57 sauce for 1-2 hours. Then coat in Bisquick or pancake mix and deep fry.
This was Bud Grant's favorite method.
I see no reason why you couldn't do it with Buffalo Sauce, too.
Yip, Im hungry also now, I like this one Jeff go combo with the buffalo sauce and butter since the butter does cool down the hot sauce just a little and give's a nice creamier taste. Great this is what Im doing tomorrow. Thanks.
If you like spicy Angelo.......this might be the ticket.........my version of Buffalo Bluegill......Bread the filets in your choice of cornmeal or flour breading.........Fry to your desired crispness and drain........The sauce of choice for me is a melted stick of butter and Frank's Buffalo sauce mixed together........Dab the filets as desired and enjoy...........They are a hit at any function I throw around here..........I end up with friends I didn't know I had!
