Yea these I think are mallard flank feathers it didn't say on the pack. I'll be using different things for the wings till I get it zeroed in to where I want it. When I was young we went to Lake Erie all the time. When the mayfly's were in nothing to see the side of a building covered and about 6 to 8 inches of mayflies on the ground dead. They are quite plentiful and when there heavy forget about fishing all the fish are gorged with mayflies.

Nice tie Dick. Wish I could catch the Mayfly hatch. I saw a big one on Kentucky Lake when I was a kid. They were everywhere. Are mallard flank wings?
