Made with #8 hook bent to about 60 degrees with a 3.5mm hourglass eyes. Added a #1 Willow blade.
. White pearl, Chartreuse, Olive.

Tooty I don't know about the imagination part you need a mind for that but I am more than willing to experiment with many failures I might add. What I do make I try to make good and when I say good I mean something pleasing to the eye that catches fish and above all holds up under many a caught fish.

Jim you could be right about the way they swim. Didn't have a way to really check them but in a jar they swam at a 45 to 60 degree angle with the blade remaining on the bottom. Same holds true with the plain flies without the blades.
