Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The BG are on fire right now...while I fed this evening, Gage grabbed a rod with a small crankbait on it and was tearing them up! Water was 62 degrees, and it was a feeding frenzy in all ponds.....he probably caught a dozen while I fed, all on the little minnow shown here.....

Yep....temps are coming up fast here. Couldn't believe the difference in feeding behaviour between yesterday and today.

So true, Jeffrey. Last Thurs I had 46 in the bass pond. Sunday I had 56 in another pond just 10 miles away. With todays high of 84, I suspect we will be around 60 in the shallows tomorrow on some local lakes.

Crazy!

We didn't have 62 degree water until today.....amazing how spring can launch when it gets around to it! Nice fish Gage...sounds like fun on the artificial!
