I always wonder, "What secret GPS records does that fish finder of his hold?" Info worth as much as precious stones and metals..

I hear you on the Spring Jim.....only a fisherman would understand my count down calendars......"first day of spring", "next Full Moon" and so on...............John this particular creek is just what the doctor ordered for tidal crappie.....these fish adapt to vast regions of relatively shallow water like the tidal waters of this estuary....this particular creek and many others like it hold fish year round.......the creek channel averages 12 to 14 feet with transitions up to six to eight feet near shore.....This particular tree dropped in area that's four to eight feet, so the fish contact this structure almost year round only departing for the creek channel during the coldest weeks of the year.......Easter Sunday a couple years back I had a hundred Crappie morning with "tuxedos" up to 15".....

Never caught a crappie.  Once worked with a man that could catch them from a mud hole.  Always thought the Becks lake area would be good.
