Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Scuds on a #10 scud hook. Brown, Olive, and orange. Tying room put up till after the holiday needed these for the the holiday I know it will be nice.

Tooty you may be right. That was my main concern because the scud is so small. Maybe I should make some giant scuds.

HEY DICK , ggggggggggreat looking scuds  and good thing you don't fish for trout, THEY WOULDN'T STAND A CHANCE BUDDY !!!!!!!!! OF COURSE the gills will try to digest em before ya will be able to set the hook buddy..

Great job Dick! Scud hooks are my favorite to tie on. Gill seldom ever swallow them and don't spit them out easily.

Mike I have a plastic over the back then with a gun brush I comb the dubbing down.

I'm working on bettering myself. My biggest problem is those small hooks and to top it off I have large hands. I'm finding myself having to go slow but it doesn't matter I'm not running a business so I just take my time. The larger stuff I can tie faster..
