Very nice flies Bill. Will be a great asset to the arsenal to cast into the tules just below the the trees. Excellent mimics of the fuzzy caterpillars of the saddle back and cloak butterfly species near the salt marshes. Very very nice!

Im thinking the top one will be good in the late spring and the others in summer.

I saw several huge flocks of Tundra Swans heading south yesterday in coastal North Carolina and they are usually better than any forecast or almanac out there.....Show us some pictures, we'll miss the hard water down South.....

The water up here is getting ready to get real hard...a heavy north wind and the temp is supposed to go to 25!

I was goofing around on the fly tying bench....took a couple of ideas and put them together.  the top one is a san juan worm that I added legs to to look like a centipede

the bottom two are rubber skirt material tied over dubbing...I call them "wingnuts"  they sink pretty slow so I know they will work on the fly rod or under a cork. the color combo's are endless...

Let me know what you think.  The more comments the better.  Thanks in advance...
