Crying Shame that waters get to the point you don't want to eat the fish!

I always like eating bullheads. We use to go out and catch so many we threw most of them back and the ones we kept were um um good. In the canals off of Lake Erie you could catch 100's  but now a days don't think I would eat them coming from that lake anymore but would still be fun to catch.

At a little restaurant at an all you can eat Buffett up in Port Ontario I once feasted on breaded Bullheads .It was heaven!

Well, don't see them as bullies. Just see them as fish sticks in the making. My wife caught a few that size, and there was no limit to how many we could catch or the sizes. So, we kept a few dozens. Lots of work, but good fish stick none the less.

Always seem to find Bullies when fishing either an inflow  or out flow . Two Northern spots on Cupsaw Lake have pipe inflows =Bullies.   One southern spot by outflow /Dam =Bullies . Dam /outflow on Vernon Valley Lake = Bullies!

They may be small, but their bodies are good for a nice fight, for about a minute. Then, they become fish sticks.
