Congrats Jim.

Great catch. When opportunity knocks for a fast and easy meal, it won't care. However, now, it'll become more and more weary of hitting anything that makes noise in the water.

The way this year went, maybe next year I might have to keep a bigger eye on temps. Temps usually never bother me before unless it's full swing in Winter. In spring is the best time even if the water is still cold them basking in the shallows chasing anything that swims, gaining their weight back getting ready to spawn.

Thanks, Angelo! I started catching them on Traps in early April, when we had 46 degree water. Like you said...it didn't make sense...burning a lure through shallow water when it was cold. But they pounded and 'light hit' the lures and we got some real nice fish.

Did real well on plastics, however, after the water got above 58.

I will say Bass this year really been weird. The water gets colder now they hitting crankbaits and rattle traps more than they did in spring and early summer before temps got too hot. I'am a plastic worm guy when it comes to Bass and this whole year they been just shying away from it but last year they couldn't stop being on my hook...Great Bass Jim.
