Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

1/64th oz. Carl gave me a few painted jig heads with painted eyes so I know lots of people like hair jigs so I tied some up with some squirrel tail.

Great looking jigs for a slow falling presentation, I don't tie my own, but buy from a guy called Jimbo's jigs ..he passed away 2 years ago but his son took up the charge and still Tues and offers different hair jigs for sale online. I've Been Using IN Northern California For PANFISH For Years now.

Very nice jigs, and painted eyes look great, too.

Your right about Carl's work. Can't get over how well the eyes turned out he's got it down for sure.

Never thought about the coloring just tried to match the heads with the color squirrel tails I have.

Thank you Allen. I'm really not sure if I like tying this squirrel tail or not. Had a hard time with it twisting on the hook no mater how tight I wrapped it I guess it will take some getting use to.
