Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

These are inspired by the vintage red/white patterns of decades past. Tied with combinations of marabou, wool and duck feathers, I painted the eyes with a paint pen.
Size 8 and 10 shown, all are sized for big bluegill - an inch in length.

Well john, we shall see. Crappie had crossed my mind, but I hold no great hope for them. They ignore me, as we know.
I mostly just wanted to try the combination of colors. Will I fish them under a float? Possibly; hadn't planned to.

Red collared ,white Bucktail jigs have been my most consistent Crappie catcher !Often don't need to tip with bait .I catch fish, using  feather, Marabou ,Squirrel tail and rabbit fur jigs also .

With eyes like those they no doubt will catch .Will you be fishing these under  a float David?

Thanks guys.
Leo, I'll never reach Dicks level... Not in any future I can foresee.
His sophistication and production capacity boggles me.
