Do you love big bluegill?
My new Chehalis came today.
This is how it comes out of the box, packed in its shoulder pack bag.
I won't be toting it to remote mountain lakes, so the bag will be just handy
It's a big bag full, at about 30x18x24. The little I looked at it, it seems pretty tough.

Now that you've had the Chehalis for a while, how's it working out?
If I may ask, what does something that large (it's as big as a framed pontoon boat, at 8 feet) do for you that a regular-sized float tube doesn't? It looks huge, with those pontoons sticking so far out to the front.
After a few years of use, my float tube is up for replacement. While I'm leaning toward either a Fat Cat or Super FC this time around instead of an ODC-420, I haven't totally ruled out getting a pontoon instead, the main draw being that I could stick my trolling motor on the pontoon and zip around the lake a lot faster.
Well, at least it wasn't packed in an "embarassing" box. A buddy of mine on another board bought a float tube, used, and the seller had packed it into a box from a Barbie doll house.....
Looks like great fun David. I always wanted to try this. Like a kayak but closer to the medium. Looking forward to your results!
You high roller you!! Can't want to see that baby in action.
Yes David fishing can be dangerous .Sounds like a joke until you consider ; Lightning in an aluminum boat , Treble hooks finding their way into the flesh of careless fisherman , drowning in rivers because the fish were hitting and you didn't notice the River rising , falling thru the ice in frigid water ,boating accidents etc
