Do you love big bluegill?

WE have a smallish lake here that has a bike path around it. I like to ride the bike around the lake and fish wherever I can get to the water.
I ride several older early 90's all-steel old-schoolers. These were originally all terrain bikes, with no suspension. Each has been modified.
One is set up as a street rider - Nishiki "Manitoba" with road slicks and drop bars.
One is rigged for street and trail - Specialized "Hard Rock" with hybird tires and riser bars
One is set up strictly for off road - Cignal "Cherokee" with lugged knobbies and flat bars.
None of them are 'dope' or 'hype', but I've got less than $200 between the three of them. they are built like tanks and will outlive me. They get my old butt around pretty good!
I did some fishing stop and fish then go. I could see lots of bass at certain points along the dam. When I got back to my truck I asked some people how they did at the start of the dam, between the 3 of them they caught 8 Redear after about 3 hours.
David- my photo is missing the entire berisconi side on the right side of the photo, so its a little bit bigger. I think the dam is around 2 miles long. see the rails there used to be a pier at the end of those but the water level was lowered 25 feet.
Nice. Did you manage to do some fishing during the ride Anthony, or just biking for fun at the moment?
What a beautiful scene. Living here in the heart of the country, Southern Indiana, I've never seen landscapes like that. The farthest west I ever went was to Valentine Nebraska, we were fishing a big lake out there for bluegill when I was a kid. I can't get over the snow capped mountain in the background.
Good looking SC lake, although not at all the size I expected. I like to see a bike, too. Biking and fishing are my two favorite activities. Ive managed to combine them by owning a pedal powered kayak!
Don't worry Jeff. The Southern California 'Gillers will be hitting the fish hard very soon. The water is still a bit on the cool side (see that snow), but we have some warm days coming this week, so watch out!
Where have all the Gillers gone? Beautiful shot....crisp afternoon on the lake.......
