No matter how much I stare at these things, they're so freaking cool! Looks like colorful assorted candies.

I like your poppers and I do some just like them. What dia. are you doing? I am doing 1/4" with 3 layers and a 9mm with 4 layers of 2mm foam. I haven't used the foam ones yet but I have been using 1/4" cork poppers for 45 years and they catch a lot of fish. I don't do a lot of colors anymore. I do yellow and chartruse. I have thought about the yellow and black but have not yet done any. These old eyes would prefer the yellow on the front however. I use a red kip tail and a grizzly hackle. I have put rubber legs on some and use sharpies to do the eyes. Red with black pupil though I don't think the fish care whether they have eyes or not. I do use hump shank hooks on all my small poppers. 12,10,8 and I use C/A to glue to the hook. If I find that the C/A is not strong enough I will switch to epoxy. I know epoxy will hold very well. Again, nice bugs.

great ties and that soft landing can be very important on those days when they're a little skittish. I really like the yellow and red ones! Know what you mean about using the stuff up how can you justify shopping when the shelves are full? LOL!

i been selling a few here and there and i have at least 1000 bodies punched out.the places i fish i lose alot of em too.i gotta do something with all this stuff i got over the years.i just got 300 tungsten beads for when they go deep.buying stuff in bulk saves money but you actually have use.lol

i am going with the electric chicken color as i did good with southern pro crappie slugs in this abomination of colors.caught lots of crappies on the this color .see if the gills like it.if not my granddaughter will.

Good looking poppers Jim. I think you got enough for a couple years.

i punch them out and put a hole thru them.that way i can dress the fly first then glue everything and put the head on over the eye and slide over every thing and once the glue dries they are pretty durable.much lighter than cork or wood so they land real soft.

Do you punch them out yourself or does somebody sell them?
