good job! wow Jim those are so tiny I tied some sz 18 wd 40s' not long ago don't know how they turned out though I couldn't see em LOL! can't imagine the 22s'.
Great looking fly. Don't know how anybody can see a size 20 or 22.
I've tied some size 20 Griffith's Gnats. I can't see them on the water! But I can tie them, and tie them onto my tippet.
me too,i might have to leave it stuck in the foam.i could not focus my eyes for 10 minutes after tying this, just wanted to see if i could still do it.gonna work on some bass flies next.gonna be like working rope
Jim
Nice, Ive only made it to size 18. looks great
looks like a great gnat jim but how are you going to run the line thru it?? i would need binuclars!
Nice looking bug, by the way
The problem with the size 22 flies is getting the 1/2# line thru the eye of the hook. I can't see the hook, let alone the eye. Got a couple boxes of size 22 hooks if some one needs 'em.
HEY JIM, unless someone has tied a #22 they don't know how hard it is to get the proportions right !!! Great job on a little bitty fly !!!!!
size 22 gnat ,stuck on a size 12 popper body.gonna fish on 1/2 lb line and a radio antenna.
