I think it won't be until near the end of April until the water warms enough to start the spawn.

I hope it’s soon Bruce….looks like a pretty big warmup in the south, hope some it reaches you folks….we had fun….looked grim early and then I located an active wind blown bank…..it never gets old……

Thanks Dick…this was our best trip for shallow crappie this year……I love watching the float slide off with the strike…

Thanks John….still keep having cold fronts and clippers but the fish here are so ready to pile in shallow….wind blown flat helped us too….good thing about crappie fishing, you don’t have to be perfect and still have good results….
