Nice ol' lures  Dick! I like the Hell benders:"Tempting wide wobbling action Dives quick and deep Easily fish over most structure Cover steep banks and drop-offs Able to get down to at least 35 feet on a long flat-line troll Color :  The famous Hellbender began making its way into anglers tackle boxes in the late 1950s. Over the years, Hellbenders have held many state and world records for most freshwater species. The unique heart-shaped diving lip design gives it the most tempting wide wobbling action."

Very cool lures. I'm going to have to look to see If I can find any of my own.

Sorry I wasn't quicker. I took pictures of a3 vintage I took from my vintage lure display and 1 from my old tackle box. A couple of Mudd Bugs a Fred Arbogast kinda look-alikes and a couple of whopper stoppers.

Thanks Dick .These Pickerel come from a lake less than 5 minutes from  my house .Brother Greg and I have done well with the Pickerel  in this small 74 acre Lake .It's a Public Park/Lake and only Electric Motors are allowed . Using the Helix 5 sonar has been invaluable to learn their whereabouts in any month of the year .Through the ice its the Hummingbird ICE 35 that helps. I am finding Summer Pickerel ready to attack in 15 ' of water .I am thinking I should find some slightly deeper spots as we didn't get 24" + fish Tuesday but we have in the past . The Four  biggest Picks  the other day hit the 6" Sluggo ,a big Lipped Norman Crankbait ,a Medium sized Bomber Crank and a 4" Keitech Easy Shiner .

Nice fish John. Never caught a pickerel but plenty northern pike on whopper stoppers and water dogs way back when.
