Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

A few years ago, some will recall my first grand child was born. He'll be two next month, and today was his first foray to the pond. The first trip was, well, uneventful... No fish caught.

But we managed a shot of Jeremy holding Papas fly rod.
An inauspicious beginning? Perhaps.
But a lifetime of fishing fun and reflection is ahead, if I have anything to do with it.

LOL as the immortalized words of Will Smith in MIB, "Old and busted..New and hotness.." But surely, the old may be busted, yet, we still have our grooves on.

Now that's the "I'm going to beat ya old timers" attitude we're looking for.

Hes all of that, Dick. Good eye. He misses NOTHING, and figures things out like a switch.

I don't think so he look far more intelligent and I know he's smarter. I'm thinking he'll take all this fishing info in like a sponge and one day be teaching us. Nice to see the little lad following in my footsteps.
