Arrghh Dick, the weather is not looking good for Ice fishing .Warm and rainy yesterday and warm for the next week or more . What a tease to go out on the ice only once and then have to wish I was ice fishing .

Yes that WAS cool!  Tiger fish .Cant imagine what eats them Carl. Perhaps they're the Apex predator in those waters .Very happy with the tandem rig  carrying over to the ice period .It attracts attention for sure even if you only get one fish . Thursday ,I got fish on both top and bottom lures but not two at once .(A goal to do through the ice) However , why not give em a choice ! I am a big time fan of tying combos of different tandems and trying them out .Made up a few today in fact . Perch like em and I suspect when the fish are schooling or bunched up it's a great technique whatever the species !
