thank you jeffrey it was. dick, i really didn't understand it at the time, i saw his head and thought it was a big one but obviously not. still a fun one. i've caught short stocky ones at this lake too. the only fish over 35" we hooked here was one six pound test fishing for smallies (quick bite off). go figure! thanks again

Thats a nice Chicago Toothy. When we see them that slender we call them hammer handles. If it had some girth to it, I don't think I've ever seen one that long to be to thin but I know it still pulled out some drag as they love to do. They are fun to catch and good eatin for sure just have to get around then Y-bones. Some people can fillet them and get the Y-bone out I haven't got it down yet. Still a dandy fish Jacob man you got it happening.
