I topped my personal Best Flier today at 10 inches long and 19 Ounces

My friend Doc and his son Matt also caught their Personal Best Fliers..What a great time!

1 pound 4 ounces Allen is the North Carolina State record and tied for the world record with a Georgia fish.....This fish was only an ounce from matching that weight...I actually had her checked at two stations and she was 19 ounces soaking wet.....I'm on track though fishing in the right location....I just feel you have to catch her know because the eggs will be laid soon if not already.....

This one was prepped and frozen for the taxidermy.....Ironically I had just explained to these guys that we were approaching the same creek I caught my personal best Flier earlier this month and the pink jig was gone...set the hook and it felt more like a Crappie but turned out to be this 10 inch Flier......We went on to add roughly a dozen today with 6 over 9 inches....
