Thanks Tooty, but only one Crappie ,hope that improves as the water cools a bit and they bunch up in the shallower water and get the big feed on! The Male Gills really were good though ,nice and thick and tough fighters .The hens were on average an inch smaller @7-7.5 " and fought good too. Only four  White Perch but the 10.5" was a good specimen .Usually get them around 9" .I aint complainin'

LOL So, the inverted appeared a bit odd to the fish..bad swimmer issue? The fish goes for the proper swimmer instead. I used similar tandem design for trout and tilapia. Quite fun.

Leo- He took the bottom jig with the added spinner and not inverted with a split shot 5" above .The top inverted tube was untouched but I think another day it 'll catch .I want to try different tandem combos .Its fun fishing on a whippy rod and Johnson Spincasting reel .Makes this old man feel like a kid again!

Great looking slab. That's the first time I see the tube gets inverted. I can understand the concept of it.

I am not locating the numbers of Crappie but I hope they bunch up this fall and I can really get into them .Still trying to get one over 14" in this lake!
