AH! No wonder. Must be close the Amish areas where very light human disturbance to retain good lake's fertility conditions, or simply good stewardship.

Thank you Leo. This was in a very fertile 25 acre lake in Southern Indiana. It contains a large number of 12-15" bass and consequently lots of large bluegill over 10" and large crappie over 12".

Very nice! Looks a the glistening body of that slab, and the gorgeous hue near the dorsal. Where was this at? The ambient water quality must be close to nature's optimized conditions.
