For a relatively small sunfish species....Fliers are put together for speed and with the very large eyes their prey items don't stand a chance....All that said, sometimes a big Flier will surprise you with just a little nibble on your bait even in warmer temperatures...float will slide but not submerge...each species has it's own personality for sure.....This 10" fish would have been a great candidate to replicate but I decided him and several others in this class should go back since I have some big fliers with a special taxidermist already.....
