20150519-WIXOM LAKE-BRUTAL COLD FRONT FISHING MIXED BAG
20150519-WIXOM LAKE I had about an hour and a half to kill so I took it to the bridge during a nasty cold front. 30 deg drop in temps from yesterday, cold blustery wind.ive had some great times catching the jumbos on days like today in the past. So make it or break it I took a chance taking 3 rods… an UL slip bobber rig, the micro shot rig and the new 5-6 ft Daiwa UL. The bite was slow but ended up a nice mixed big including a bonus 20” Class Walleye. All the fish were caught tight up against structure, fallen trees concrete embankments pillars etc…. really had to work hard for these bites.

thanks guys!... 80 degrees the day before then 49.... sheesh. after a frosty night it warmed up nicely today with the sun and calm seas.
