20150817- … back in the kayak fishing the skinny water found temps in the mid 80’s with very few fish to target in the area… obviously they vacated and went deeper during this hot spell. Deeper edges found some crappie hitting the Jelly Jig about 12 in number all around the 10” mark…. Sloooowww bite!!!

20150525-Wixom Lake … rained a good part of the day so went out later to try the p.m. bite. Pan fish were hitting on the ULTRA LIGHT JIGGING ROD W/4-0# BRAID rig with tube jigs or power minnows tied on. Crappies 9 to 10.75 and many perch largest at 9.5. no bluegills or bites on the slip bobber rig. If I were in the boat I know id be hitting the gills pretty good… they are just out of reach from this shoreline.

20150426- Really getting frustrated with the lack of the crappie bite at the bridge location so far this year. typically they should be in and biting along with p'seeds, gills and rock bass.
