2014 ~ COLD WATER PANFISHING FOR TROPHIES ... NOW IS THE TIME TO BE OUT THERE!

Caught these two trophies cold water panfishing slip bobbering the shallows in 48 deg water temps with GULP Pink Maggots. nows the time for securing the trophies the short time just before hard water season. Did not see another boat out there!

thanks Carl... i ended up with (3) Master Angler sized p"seeds last year... but by Michigan rules you only submit one per year per species. the one that i am holding in the snap i thought was better looking but was just a bit short than the one i caught late august.

Jim... Thanks! .... yep i fished till right before hard ice which was very early last year... mid November. makes sense first ice is always good for ice fishing... why not leading right up to that point.

Excellent work! I fish right up until ice up with float and fly/bait techniques. It works for me down to 38 degrees F. water temps.
