David, we secretly have some of the best blue gill, crappie and bass fishing in the country (as you may well know). After living 7 years in North Carolina and fishing a lot of the area I would put a lot of Minnesota area lakes up against any of the big time fishing lakes in the country as better in the amount of large avg size classes in each of those species. Come on up the water is fine!! :)

AHHHHHHHHHH MINNESOTA , ALWAYS DID LIKE THE REEDS UP THERE, AND SAND BOTTOMS IN LOTS OF PLACES.... Fished up there in my youth , back bout 50+ years ago and never forgot it. Fished a place called LAKE OSAKIS , and had a ball as a little kid ........
