Do you love big bluegill?

Water was still muddy today, but I tried to catch bluegill with the 2wt fly rod. Used a #12 stonefly nymph and had several light hits, but nothing hooked until this trout (stocked) saw the fly. Wind go so bad I had to put the fly rod up and switch to the new spinning outfit. Went to a 1/64 oz jig under a float and had several hits, but only a couple hook-ups (1 trout and 1 bluegill) and both of those managed to get off the hook before I brought them to hand.
At least they were looking for food. When (if) the water clears up fishing should be good!
