Sorry Jen I'm not real sure what WTG means. Sorry I've been out there with the fly rod but not doing much good got a couple gills and that was it but I'm thinking instead of my rubber spiders I'm going to have to fish a sinking fly, I did catch these last fish on a 1/32oz jig which tells me maybe sinking is the way to go.

Wow nice fish! So what do you need in a pond to raise big perch?

Comment by dick tabbert on July 11, 2012 at 7:21pm

Thanks Walt I'm just wondering what kind of growth rate I can expect I've only had them for three months and they have already added about 2 or 3" and gotten twice the girth. I'm thinking maybe I better give up on raising big gill and concentrate on big perch they are better table fare anyway.

I think I'm safe I'm putting up the electric fence and digging a mot around the pond and filling it with Gators. I'm calling out all stops there nobody going the catch that fish and by the way his name is Henry.

I think you already slip and the words out that poor fish won't have a chance now.
