Do you love big bluegill?
I just bought a new Pumpkinseed reel and combos for the whole family. I got the girls Pink, my nephew Orange and me Silver.
Master Roddy Hunter 2 - Pc. Spinning Combo lights up the lake! Literally! Lights mounted on each side of the reel produce an eye-catching circular display as the reel handle is turned. But this Combo is FAR from a gimmick... it has what it takes to land the lunker on fresh or salt water. Features a silver rod and matching pre-spooled graphite reel. From the boat, shore or dock, light it up with this Spinning Combo! Reel: 3 ball bearing for smooth retrieval-right or left-handed; 5.1:1 gear ratio; Front drag. Rod: EVA foam handles; Graphite reel seat; 2-Pc. graphite construction; Diamond wrap. Length: 5'6"; Action: Light; Line Weight(lbs.): 6-12. Master Roddy Hunter 2 - Pc. Spinning Combo 5'6".
Post the bragger pumpkinseeds in your fishing portfolio. they are great fish... jewels of the lakes!Continue

Hey folks, I have recently been posting some picks of some very big pumpkinseed sunfish that I now believe are actually hybrids of seeds and bluegills. After viewing many photos from the BBG…Continue

Thank you Jeffrey D. Abney, Bruce Condello, Harold Ewing III, Jim Ducy, Jacob Hill, John Sheehan, Bill Musky Modica, Dwayne Denison, Steve Crowders, Steve Kooyers and 2lb Bluegill, for joining the group. It is growing fast, which is cool. I will be getting a lot more involved now, I got married on Saturday, so I have been very busy. I really want this group to be fun and informative. Tight lines, Duane
Prettiest warmwater species out there. One of the only fish I catch in which I don't care about the size of the fish. Maybe if I could catch them the size you guys do then I would care.
Thank you everybody for joining. I am sorry it took so long to get back to you, but I got married on Saturday.
Great pics everyone, Pumpkinseeds are so beautiful. Jim Ducy let me know some of the good lakes that you find, I live in the same area.
Tight lines, Duane

anyhow, they're great eating. I see you're catching them with tiny crankbaits; we use the same one for smallies. Now I'll have to try 'em inside the treeline, where most of my big panfish live. thanks.
howdy; i fish way out west (no. calif) inside the tree line. have been calling some of my 'gills p-seeds, but i may be wrong. Now I see your pics; they all have blue streaks on gill covers & cheeks, but 'mine' don't have that marking, just the seeds on scales.
Bill has posted some awesome Seeds on this site Duane, look forward to the progression of this group!
Thank you for joining Bruce.
