I just bought a new Pumpkinseed set up.

I just bought a new Pumpkinseed reel and combos for the whole family. I got the girls Pink, my nephew Orange and me Silver.

Master Roddy Hunter 2 - Pc. Spinning Combo lights up the lake! Literally! Lights mounted on each side of the reel produce an eye-catching circular display as the reel handle is turned. But this Combo is FAR from a gimmick... it has what it takes to land the lunker on fresh or salt water. Features a silver rod and matching pre-spooled graphite reel. From the boat, shore or dock, light it up with this Spinning Combo! Reel: 3 ball bearing for smooth retrieval-right or left-handed; 5.1:1 gear ratio; Front drag. Rod: EVA foam handles; Graphite reel seat; 2-Pc. graphite construction; Diamond wrap. Length: 5'6"; Action: Light; Line Weight(lbs.): 6-12. Master Roddy Hunter 2 - Pc. Spinning Combo 5'6".

7" ,Took a 32nd oz. Squirrel  Tail  Jig tipped with a crawler chunk .

This Pseed took a 16th oz. Squirrel Tail jig I tied which I tipped with a crawler chunk . Stunning eyes and Cheek markings!

Two pseeds were aggressive enough to pound this 1.5" Soft Minnow Bait with the 16th oz. weight inside the body. You know the waters warm when Pseeds are chasing.

Being outnumbered with  competing Yellow and White Perch, Bluegills and Crappie,  I catch very few Pseeds in my community lake .However ,the few I catch are usually quite aggressive .Love this local underdog and always release.

This week been catching pregnant pseeds up to 6" on Tabbert and Hendrix creations tipped with crawler pieces .Glad the Pseeds  survived last years fish kill.
