You are right though I am on my own worst critic.That's something I don't ever think will change but don't stop me from trying but helps me to try to improve.

I have a little tray of stuff that I can't throw away , ties I didn't like, that I keep as reminders of failures and I learn from that stuff, AS DO ALL TIERS...........

Comment by dick tabbert on January 17, 2013 at 7:48pm: Thanks David. The reason I know is because the hook barb is between the eye's. But through my mistakes I can say I'm still learning. I'll keep it so I know if I do another one I'll need a bigger hook or a hook that is longer.

Comment by dick tabbert on January 17, 2013 at 7:44pm: Carl the looks are only OK but that's to be expected because it my 1st one. I put to small of a hook in it. The hook is so small it's right under the eye's and I believe a hook set would be impossible. But I guess the main thing is I just wanted to see if I could make one and it turned out OK. Now on to some different stuff.
