The recent  commercials are getting a bit too pretentious but I'm not blaming Jeremy for that .I hope for some good shows too!

I believe he has done shows on both the Tiamen and the Mekong yes.

Has Jeremy Wade done an episode on the Mekong Catfish?  Those get HUGE, 600 lbs +  Don't know if they attack humans or not.  Has he already done an episode on the Tiamen, that HUGE trout in Mongolia?

NJangler -Just about the only fresh water fish  left for Jeremy is a Frankenfish Salmon.

The photo of Jeremy at the start shows him holding what appears to be what I use for crappie bait.

I think that the show is unfortunately in its twilight. There's really no new speices of freshwater river monsters that Jeremy can catch so drama needs to be injected into the show to keep it interesting. The one thing I don't like is that there seems to be less and less emphasis on actual angling. I still love the show, but I feel like it's reaching at times with the storylines.

Btw, I keep seeing a teaser for the show "Mermaids" in the same commercial about the River Monsters season finale. It's actually a show about the search for real mermaids. Frankly, I think it's embarrassing that R.M. and that show are mentioned in the same promo. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that they DON'T find a real mermaid.

I prefer quality episodes as opposed to Quantity  of less interesting shows.Seems to me there might be a bit of psuedo drama going on .I still like the show a lot but I'm wondering if there has been a bit of a Lull in the Quality.Hope it picks up.
