well guys;; me being a old fart; I use old fart reels.  mine are perrine automatic reels!!  they quit making them in the mid 60;s!!  I'll have to go look at a crank reel to see how its made to have some idea;; LOL!!

Question; how does an old fart fix a broken handle on a favorite ol' fly fishing reel ? Tooty knows the answer. Who else can figure it out .

Nothing but Velcro for me. Been wearing them for 15 years. Easy to tie come on and off easy not to mentions saving my back. If your wearing Velcro Tooty more power to ya I wouldn't change for nothing..

Black socks with either Velcro sneakers OR sandals/shower shoes.

Outstanding Scruffy !!!!!!! "OLD FARTISH" should now be a real word in the dictionary and one of our pics next to it . I think you should be the one to keep and add to a list on here aaaaaall top ten Old Fart characteristics and the list could be added to and adjusted as needed. 

  JUST TRYING TO BE FAIR HERE TO OUR ONLY " FARTETTE" LADY JEN , SHE MAY HAVE her own set of rules or characteristics she want's to include too . We WILL BE NICE TO THE FARTETTES, (W0MEN), WHO WANT TO JOIN BECAUSE THAT'S THE GENTLEMANLY THING TO DO OF COURSE.
   ONE MORE UNIFORM DETAIL: SOCKS ARE OPTIONAL OF COURSE because of the difficulty of putting em on in the morning . Black socks and velcro closures are almost  a must . I will try to locate an old fart today and take some pics to be posted here later....

The uniform is complete!

TIP - you can make even Velcro sneakers look less "old fartish" with one simple trick:

Spray paint them black.

Once painted, they look like any fashionable footwear a worldly gentleman might wear. No one has to know what an old fart you really are!
