HEY KELLY do you think you could post a pic of the 310's ? Don't know if I've ever seen one of them . HOw many sedona's ya got Kelly?

Comment by Kelly Peterson on July 9, 2014 at 11:07am

Love them 308's/408's-have them on all my rods that I still use. Only difference between 308 and a 408 is the gear ratio-408 is faster retrieve. Everything else is interchangeable.

Guess at latest count I have 10-308's, 2-408's and 3-310 UL's plus about 12 extra spools and enough spare parts to keep these 40+ year old reels working for my sons and grandsons long after I'm gone.

I have some new Shimano Sedona's to sell if anyone is interested?

Included are a pair of 304 Mitchells , a 308 Mitchell, a pair of oooooooold 110 DAM QUICKS , and an not so old dicontinued Penn 716 I think.......

FIRST OFF THANKS FOR JOINING THE GROUP MICHEAL...... I HAVE NOT USED the old 304's ,308's , or 408's in years my self . Am now in the process of posting pics of some of em on here mostly in vintage tackle group . I may even start using some again on my old Wonderods . Pleasure to have you in the group .

I remember when i was 8yrs old that was 1960 my Dad bought me my first reel and that was a Mitchell 308 which i caught a lot of Bluegill and Bass on. Loved that reel!

Love my 308's, a couple 408's and 310 UL's. All my rods have old Mitchell reels on them-just can't get any better.
