Zach, we got the shrimp from
Craig Upstrom, President and they send the shrimp all over the country if you're interested.
I have sent several personal messages to Mag Rick, but he doesn't answer. Hope he's ok. |
The first time we put the pond near the bluegill pond, and there is no electricity. So, we had to circulate the water with a gas pump and aerator. The aerator broke one weekend and buy the time we could replace it, many of the shrimp had died. Most of the others were eaten by turtles, snakes, herons, and raccoons which frequent the pond down there. Also, last year was a drought here in TX, and we had to pump water from the creek, which added bluegill and minnows to the shrimp pond.
Sharon you say that you are trying freshwater shrimp farming again? What happened the first time?
Anyone know what happened to Mag. Rick?????
